What is Inside of a Limousine?

More and more different car models are used to build a limousine. In different countries you can find their locally built cars. Some of these vehicles look exotic , and all of them are stretched. Yes they are really stretched (at least more than twice). Not every turn at every road can this car overcome at first.

So, you probably already have questions. Then we have the answers. How do the passengers feel? What does the driver feels when driving around in this car? What do the owners of these vehicles feel?

We have just learned about this. And have not been able to hide this from you. Bucket of black caviar, golden toilet, a suitcase of dollars. Dimensionless limousines in the Association will look at a number of rare harmony. “Honey, I will send a limousine for you” does not it sound great?

However, a limo can boast its own very few people. it is not even a high price and usefulness of these vehicles. Which vehicle can be called a limo? Extended sedan – the limousine, car with a partition between driver and passengers again a limousine.

Even ordinary six windows sedan – also sometimes called the limousine! In fact, according to generally accepted classification, the limo should be understood as a passenger vehicle with four or six doors with a bulkhead to the front seat row.

Well, turns out, Chevrolet Suburban, which is depicted in our photos in various poses – not a limousine? Formally No. Nevertheless, any passerby noticed this car in the street will comment about the “limo”! Then the game becomes a concept – above a word “stretch”. Make any car “stretch” – and you will get people’s “limo.”

The most expensive limousines, are usually made of high-class European automobile manufacturers themselves. A typical example – Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman. Such vehicles do not affect the appearance of the imagination, but quite capable stun with the price. And in the armored version of the price just kills to death: half a million dollars is not the limit. By the way, these cars give a ride to presidents of many countries. Other kinds of limousines are often used as a taxi or corporate purposes is based on not the most expensive cars and can have up to six doors. It is easy to meet these cars on the street now days, In Seattle, such cars sometimes occur: these may be a Chrysler, Lincoln, or a Mercedes-Benz.

And more… Stretch, super stretch, ultra stretch, ultra super stretch – the creators of these fantasy vehicles inexhaustible. Sometimes it seems that the limousine is not to perform any task, but only as a means of expression. 10 seats, 20 seats, 30 seats, TV, DVD-players, bar, restaurant, pool, a heliport, a golf course, Aquarium of the current model of the aircraft carrier in full size.Even if you do not think of what would have such a wish, in the limo it will be.

Of course, five axle stretch with a …

Women in Men’s Sports – Should it be Allowed?

Over the past century, women have come along way in terms of equality. Ever since Women’s Suffrage (which, by the way, may be the worst name ever for women’s equality), in most aspects women have been put on a level playing field with their male counterparts. During the brunt of the 20th Century, women largely spent their time tending to the home. However, as a society we have since left those archaic times, and women currently comprise nearly 50% of the work force.

So, the next question that comes to mind is whether or not this equality issue should be taken to the next level, allowing women to participate in sports that are predominantly played by men. Here are my thoughts on the issue.

I generally feel as if I am a progressive thinker. In no way, shape or form do I believe that women are of a lesser life form than men. Women are just as intelligent, talented and capable as men, far surpassing men in some areas. However, when it comes to sports, it is a virtual certainty that men are bigger, faster and stronger than women. As a result, it is no secret that women find it rather difficult to compete with men. But, does that mean that women should be excluded from the male side of sports? Not necessarily. I feel that in sports like swimming, golf, track, and tennis, women should be allowed to compete with men if they feel up to the task. You may be wondering why women should be allowed to compete in some sports and not others. Here is why. The aforementioned sports are individual, non-contact sports. If there is no physical contact between the contestants, the outcome of the game depends less on physical prowess than on skill. Physicality still is a factor, but not nearly as much as in team or contact sports. When skill is the main determinant, I don’t see any reason why women should not be able to play with men.

However, when it comes to contact sports like football, basketball, soccer and hockey, I personally don’t think that women should be allowed to compete. My reasoning is two fold. First, when women and men play together, men find themselves at a distinct disadvantage. Men have been raised to treat women with respect and kindness. This notion definitely shows up on the playing field. For example, when in college I participated in co-ed intramural sports. As I found myself playing against a female opponent, I felt bad taking the ball away from her. Furthermore, even if I did decide to take the ball, I did it in a very unnatural way, trying not to be too rough. I simply did not want to be that “jerk” who was too physical with a girl. Because of experiences similar to my own, I feel that women should not be allowed to play contact sports with men.

The second reason I am against women in male team or contact …

How Should I Keep My Fine Watches in Quality Condition?

When most people buy watches, they don’t realize how much goes into keeping them up-to-date and in good working condition. It’s not like having a car, but you do have to take some steps to keep your timepieces running well. This is especially important if you bought a fine watch like a Cartier Santos 100 or a Techno Marine; these are moderately priced watches, so to allow them to deteriorate is just plain silliness. Below are a few guidelines you will want to follow in order to get the most out of your watches.

1. It’s important that you clean your watch with a dry soft cloth or a brush sporadically. Oftentimes, as with most electronic products, dust will get into the gaps of the watch or into the case, and this could indeed make your watch stop working. Also, if you notice perspiration on your watch’s case or strap, it’s also a good idea to clean these as well with a watch cleaner and cotton.

2. Make sure you don’t wear your watch in situations where it could be exposed to really high temperatures. Watches have many protective elements such as water resistance, but I have yet to see a watch that can be exposed to high temperatures and not get ruined. Also, if you have a fine watch, make sure you don’t keep it in the sun for a long time, as this could cause thermal shock!

3. If your watch isn’t shock-resistant, such as many Charriol watches, it’s always best to take it off when you are doing a sports activity such as tennis or golf. Sometimes the jerkiness of your movements can ruin the watch or move around parts inside the watch. Also, if you plan on taking a shower or swimming, make sure the watch is water resistant! If you do have a water resistant watch, the gaskets should be replaced every 12 to 24 months to ensure the quality of the watch is up-to-date.

4. Don’t open the watch. Not only can this void any warranties, it’s also just plain dumb! The parts inside a watch are very small and you could very easily lose some of the pieces in the watch; pieces which cannot be replaced.

5. If you want to buy watches with a leather strap like those of the Chase Durer watches, it’s always a good idea to keep the strap dry. Not only can water and other liquids ruin the leather, but if it’s exposed to water enough, it can stretch, crack, and even break. While some watches do have replaceable leather straps (sold separately), this can cost money and time; time that you might not want to waste on something you could have avoided to begin with!

If your fine watch ever breaks or need something fixed, all you have to do is contact your manufacturer, and they will either have you send it in for repair or suggest a watch service center in your area. The only real …

The Importance Of Sports Equipment

Sports are a very popular interest worldwide as there are many varieties people can choose from to indulge themselves in. Some people are interested in football while others like basketball. Some love the water and prefer swimming, while others like to speed inside a racing car. It doesn’t matter what type of sport you like to play as long as you realize the importance of the equipment and apparel required to play these sports. For playing football you need a football and two goal posts. Individually you may need a good pair of shoes and something to keep sweat off your eyes as it drips from your forehead. It is not so easy to indulge in any sports activity if you don’t have the appropriate sports equipment. The better your sports equipment is, the better will be your game.

The first step to have a good sporting experience is to buy a equipment that is of good quality in terms of its strength and is light in weight. For instance, if the racket with which you play badminton is not of appropriate weight your hand may not respond in the ideal fashion while playing the game. You might have to risk losing your game. But if you hold the racket before making a purchase and gauge as to what weight and length suits your hand the most, you will be able to take a good decision. Your decision at this point in time will go a long way to support your actual game.

In a game such as football, the goal keeper, for instance, would need equipment such as a helmet, shoulder pads and knee pads. You also need to think of the quality here too! For his own sake the goal keeper needs to get a hair cut before the game. The helmet should be fitting the goal keeper properly. The helmet should be refitted if the hair style of the goal keeper has changed. The front portion of the helmet should just protect the head and not become a hindrance by covering the forehead including the eyebrows. The ear holes also should match up with player’s ears. Move the helmet while the goal keeper is wearing it so that any displacement of the helmet can be rectified before the game starts.

Mouth guards are also considered another sporting equipment that should be checked for cleaning and fitting. They should be boiled to refit on the mouth of the player. Shoulder pads allow the goal keeper adequate amount of mobility. The back and front of the shoulder pads should be able to cover the shoulder blades and pectorals respectively.

Athletes should try and wear T-shirts that prevent occurrence of rashes and skin irritations arising from rough straps. Most sports equipments are of protective kind. The primary and the protective equipment are equally important because as the game progresses players become quite aggressive in an attempt to win the game. If these sports equipment are not maintained the players are …

What Are Extreme Sports?

An extreme sport can be defined as any activity that has a real or perceived high level of danger. This can be anything from bungee jumping to hang gliding, scuba diving to snowboarding and rock climbing to extreme ironing – literally anything that gets your adrenaline pumping can be classed as extreme! Originally extreme sports were associated with adult sports such as those described above, however the term now includes sports like skateboarding and bmxing which are popular with teens too.

The history of the term ‘extreme sports’ is quite often associated with Ernest Hemingway who stated ‘there are only three sports – bullfighting, motor racing and mountaineering, all the rest are games’. Whether you agree with this statement or not, it is clear that from as far back as the 1950s the term was associated with sports that could lead to death.

Most extreme sports are solitary activities although there are some exceptions to the rule such as paintballing (yes it really is extreme when you get into a game) and white water rafting which are clearly both team sports. Most people become interested in one or many at a young age and they usually only get a coach if they wish to take the sport further – this is clearly different to other sports such as football and swimming for example.

Another difference between extreme sports and normal sports is that the performance of a sportsman is not as clear cut. For example, a person’s ability to rock climb is evaluated on more subjective and aesthetic criteria, rather than on a speed or score level. With every mountain being different, and the variables also changing in the other sports, it just isn’t possible to create a set performance system. Of course, this isn’t the case for all extreme sports but it is the norm for most.

Nowadays there is even an international competition that celebrates these sports known as the x games. This includes people participating in extreme sports in a controlled environment. It began in 1995 in the United States and it is now a hugely watched competition throughout the world. This has also enabled many extreme sporters to participate in a sport full time due to the levels of sponsorship received.

Whether you fancy skateboarding or scuba diving or any of the other sports that fall in between, one thing is for sure – your adrenaline will be pumping and you are sure to have an experience that is like no other you’ve had before!…

The History of Water Sports

Swimming is noted in many of the classics as relating to heroism and religion. Nicolas Wynman’s Dialogue Concerning the Art of Swimming (1538) is the first recorded written document on swimming methods. Swimming first appeared in the Olympics in 1896, paralleled to the development of the swimming pool. Swimming the English Channel is the most publicized non-Olympic event. It proves excellence in strength and endurance. Matthew Webb from England was the first man to cross the English Channel in 1875, and later Gertrude Ederle of the Unites States of America became the first woman to cross in 1926.

Snorkeling to view exotic fish and aquamarine life is a much-loved vacation adventure. In ancient times snorkels were crafted from hollow reeds found in lakes and marshes. Pliny the Elder, a first century A.D. Roman makes reference to the snorkel, so the activity holds rank as one of the oldest recorded water sports. Loenardo da Vinci created a more modern snorkel when the Venetian senate summonsed him to do so. Divers attached this hollow tube to leather helmets

The present-day diver’s snorkel is typically a J-shaped tube that is open at the top and has a mouthpiece at the other end, usually no more than 2 ft (61 cm) long.

American West-coasters go wild riding the waves on a wooden plank known as a surfboard. Originally, surfing developed in Hawaii in the nineteenth century. It became popular in California in the 1920s, and became a hit youth sport in the 1960s.

Surfers originally used long, cumbersome wooden boards but now ride lightweight synthetic boards that allow a greater degree of maneuverability. Hawaii holds annual international surfing championships.

Water polo originated in England in 1870, and American joined the bandwagon in the early 1900s. Many club and college teams exist for this rigorous sport. Americans gave the game a twist by using a softer rubber ball in a larger pool, a game known as softball water polo. Violence and rough play ended this faction of the sport, and today only the hardball version continues to be played worldwide. Men began Olympic level water polo in 1900, and women first played in the Olympics in 2000.

Diving, another favorite Olympic sport, initiated competition in 1871 off the London Bridge. Diving is now a popular sport at the high school and collegiate level, and is an amazing display of strength, control and agility.…

History of Swimming

The history of swimming goes way back to that of prehistoric times. Books written from 2000 to 1500 BC including the Bible have references to swimming. It was mostly used in these times as a means of cleansing. Any form of competitive swimming wasn’t formed until the 1800’s in Europe. It was included in the first Olympics in 1896 in Athens, Greece.

It was noted that Ancient Egypt had cave drawings of humans swimming in the nearby sea. They often depicted a form of the breaststroke as the first type of swimming or something they used to call the front crawl. Ancient Egyptian, Grecian and Roman palaces were often equipped with swimming pools or baths. Often reserved for the elite that used them as relaxation pools and cleaning tubs.

It is noted by historians that swimming was also often used in battle. The Greeks were often regarded as solid swimmers and at the Battle of Salamis after a number of both Greek and Persian boats were destroyed it was said that all of the Persians drowned due to their inability to swim while the Greek prevailed.

The history of swimming is much easier to understand than other sports. Without any equipment to speak of an individual can take to the waters. Obviously those countries that had the most access to water were the first to adapt to swimming. History did not have the spreading of the sport as many other sports had encountered because it was basically already available. You either adopted swimming as a means of life or you just chose not to swim.

The evolution of swimming history expanded during the middle ages. A number of individuals took it upon themselves to write books about swimming. They were often focused on the ability to not drown rather than a perfect backstroke as you would imagine. Life saving concepts and techniques began to form throughout the next few hundred years and around the 18th and 19th century the sport began to evolve into more of a competition than just life safety. Swimming Associations and Clubs popped up all over the world. Some of the first in swimming history were in China, Sweden and Germany.

Schools began to believe that swimming was a natural part of any life education. Therefore, they began to teach swimming in schools not just as a life safety course but as an extracurricular activity. Schools and Universities began to adopt these practices and set up clubs and swim teams. Competitions began to arise around the mid 1800’s. England was the first to modernize the sport and incorporate an indoor swimming pool with a swim team. They began to formulate new swimming styles including the sidestroke. Shortly after this, variations of the freestyle began to form and credit can’t really be given to one person as so many were responsible for developing this technique.

The Olympic Games of 1896 in Athens was the first real platform for the sport. There only men competed in a number …

Miami Dolphins in the Bubble

The Miami Dolphins are lucky enough to have their very own training facility. This is just right for a team who was able to get a perfect season in 1972. The training facility for the Dolphins is located in the main campus of the Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. It is also the headquarter location for the Dolphins and is also used for a multitude of other events.

This state-of-the-art training facility features an exquisite architecture which reminds people of classic athletic facilities sporting the same design. The facility boasts of bowing trusses and has on of the largest weight rooms in the NFL. It also has training and locker rooms, whirlpools, therapy swimming pools, cold plunge pool, administrative offices, and of course, a practice field. Further, it has a bleacher building which accommodates 2000 visitors. The facility has an area of 5,200 square meters and is also used by other pro football teams.

An indoor training field known as “The Bubble” is also one venue of training for the Miami Dolphins. It is a 8,790 square meter indoor facility that covers the 2.2 acres on the west side of the main building. This indoor facility is an air-supported structure. The said structure was made and installed by the Air Structures American Technologies Incorporated but was constructed by the Stiles Construction. The football field inside the training facility is made out of synthetic turf composed of 75% rubber and 25% sand thereby providing a firm-playing surface. The markings found on the Dolphin Stadium game-day field is also replicated in this indoor facility. Loud crowd noise can also be simulated inside the bubble.

Before having this training facility, the Miami Dolphins trained at the St. Thomas University until 1993. Then in 2006, the indoor air-conditioned training field was added, which made the people of Miami, particularly the Dolphins proud of having such a useful and one-of-a-kind venue. The team admits that having such a training facility helps the team to feel as if they are playing in an actual field since the facility closely simulates actual games. Plus, an even better advantage is that the team can continue to practice even when the storms roll in.

The Bubble uses an extremely light yet sturdy fabric. It is inflated via the fans in the HVAC units and is controlled by an integrated control system. It was also designed to withstand the forces of hurricane winds up to category three. To achieve this, the internal air pressure is increased to stiffen the structure to withstand the external wind loads. The Dolphins do not really own the Bubble, it was just leased out to them by Jerome Harriot.

The Miami Dolphins training facility was the venue used by the 2006 AFC Champions, the Indianapolis Colts, to prepare for the Super Bowl XLI. For a team who has really excellent training grounds, the Miami Dolphins have a lot of pressure in their performance. People expect a lot from a team who is given the …
